An Evening of Jazz at Woodland Manor, with Olly Wedgwood

Woodland Manor is hosting a very special evening of jazz on Saturday 16th March at 7 pm. The highly-anticipated show will feature acclaimed jazz pianist Olly Wedgewood, who will be performing a selection of classic pieces in the atmospheric setting of our elegant hotel restaurant.

About the Musician

We’re really excited about welcoming a musician of Olly’s standing to Woodland Manor for what promises to be an exceptional evening of music.

Olly, a professional pianist since 2004, began his musical odyssey back in 1986 when he won a scholarship to the renowned Hampton School.

During his four years of formal training, the talented musician developed a love of jazz and went on to study under pianist Roger Munns, a celebrated scholar of the genre.

Olly cut his teeth professionally by gigging across the country with various jazz outfits, before securing a place with the famous Oxford Jazz Quintet, the former ensemble of one of modern jazz’s most recognisable exponents – Jamie Cullum.

In addition to performing music, Olly also conducts and writes. He has released three solo albums and is currently recording a fourth. You can find out more about him at ollyspianosheets.com.

To accompany the exceptional evening of jazz, we’ve prepared a vibrant menu of delicious international cuisine.
