Individually decorated rooms, peaceful gardens and an airy country house conservatory. These are just a few of the things that help to make Woodland Manor such a warm and welcoming home-from-home for our guests.
We’re also extremely fortunate to be able to call upon a hardworking and dedicated team of staff, who do all they can to ensure visitors feel completely at home during their stay. This welcoming ethos is embraced by Woodland Manor Owner Raj Regmi, who took over at our beautiful venue in April 2018. A very family orientated person, Raj co-runs the hotel with his wife Neera and two boys Aayush and Rohan.
Over the past twelve months, the Regmis, along with Woodland Manor Manager Freya Whitney, have been hard at work transforming and updating our country house. If you haven’t seen the changes yet, make sure you drop by for a look. Modifications include structural work in the Autograph Room, where large pillars have been removed to create more space; replacement carpets and furniture in the reception, lounge and bar areas; and freshly decorated entrance and upstairs hallways.
We have also renovated our afternoon tea room, which will become the home of The Glass Room – a brand new fine dining experience for Bedford. The dedicated fine dining restaurant, which opens on 30th May, will feature an exciting, fresh menu with vegan and vegetarian options as standard. Amidst these changes however, one aspect that has been carefully maintained is the historic grandeur of Woodland Manor – along with, of course, our warm and welcoming atmosphere.
